Power of the Bible

The “good book” has everything a person could ask for on paper: the wisest man, the strongest man, the perfect man. One can read the wise writings of the most powerful King on earth, or the prayers psalmed by King David, or the observations of the sinless man. But rather live their pathetic life believing in present propaganda.

How can one believe that the present is smarter than the past when they built what we cannot?

Conserved for generations, translated for a millenia, there are many unknown keepers of truth that some recognize while others forget. Hidden meanings, powerful symbols, recurring numbers, the Bible has been the root for all man.

Agnostic or not.

For years, the Bible has been the foundation for architecture, law, ethics, philosophy, and good. Any wonder of the world stems from the Bible, some pagan some not. The Bible lays down such powerful lessons, that it grabs the attention of all.

Distorted or not.

Cross-referenced, debated, analyzed, this word is virtually impossible to debunk. When the truths of the Bible are understood, the world becomes a lot simpler, easier, healthier. The gray-area argument of freedom or power is seen through, the present debate of ethics is scoffed at, and spirituality arises in policies that were not even fathomed.

To deny the Bible, is to deny a reputation of seriousness.

Stories of various characters or resonating parables can make one scared of God, or life, or death, or the devil. If anything in the book is personally observed as scary, then one’s faith is foggy. All elements can be learned in a positive light, and it is up to the reader to look at the victimless glass half-full.

Revelations terrifies many, God’s wrath petrifies others, but with maturity and understanding, the word is beautifully protecting one’s back.

From Aquinas to Graham, or Stoicism to Religion, differing ideas lead to the same finish line. Whether one believes the Stoic thought of control the controllable, or Paul’s writing of the non-timid spirit being created by God, both thoughts lead to mental clarity. Whether one believes in the Eucharist being a historical symbol or the genuine flesh and blood of Jesus, both will be forgiven through the dying fulfillment of the perfect one.

The present day has tarnished the historic religious way.
