Dream Big, Worship Bigger: How to Accomplish Goals

“The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.” – Proverbs 21:31

Is this not a perfect verse to start this deep dive? We must prepare ourselves to accomplish our goals, but a victorious mindset is centered around Jesus. As Christ followers, we must bear fruit; as true transformation produces works. However, we must create a target to hit, that keeps us willing and motivated to prepare.

And disciplined to fulfill God’s will.

In this post, I will be giving techniques that you can use to create a target, prepare for the target, and hit the target. Humanity has lost their ability to strive for something that seems unreasonable. Without purpose and goals centered around God, one will never be fulfilled.

A mind centered around Jesus is an unstoppable mind.

Create Your Target

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” – Galatians 2:20

I want you to stop what you are doing and bow your head and pray to the Lord of Lords. While doing this, I want you to imagine that you are looking out at a fantastic view. It can be a big lake with mountains in the background, or a city horizon producing beautiful lights. Now, imagine that to your right is a glorious temple, with Jesus standing on the steps leading up to the door. To the left, is your dream house, dream car, and dream job/target. Give Jesus a hug and walk into the temple with him and kneel to pray.

Begin.

What this will do, is enact a stronger sense of belief in yourself, and that Jesus is omnipresent. This visual exercise will enact emotion in your body to strengthen your belief in God’s power. In times of trouble, look out into the lake. In times of lack of motivation, look to your car and house. At all prayer times, walk into the temple with Jesus.

When this is done, write down your dream goal or job. Do not limit yourself. Rather, believe that God is giving you the power to allow yourself no limitations. Now that you have fantasized your dream job, you have now created matter and energy by putting it on paper.

What stays in your head is a dream; what releases out onto the world is now real.

Prepare For Your Target

“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:7

I want you to drill emotion-provoking Bible verses in your head and use them as “mental pills” to keep you positive and sharp. When you do pushups say them, when you drive affirm them, when you lay down believe them.

God is above our understanding, which means that His power cannot be comprehended. With this being so, what we can know, is that He is on our side. When we allow ourselves to believe in the power of God, we allow ourselves a feeling of motivation. We can now not be stopped, as God is directing our steps. We submit to Him, we remain humble for wisdom, we ask Him for eyes to see and an ear to hear, and we believe that He is fueling us day in and day out.

As stated earlier, now that we have exercised a divine belief in ourselves, we now must chase the service of others. We must equip ourselves with the fruit of the spirit, sword of the spirit, and the armor of God. This can be accomplished through the preparation you have taken to enact belief in yourself. With this belief, comes a raised self-esteem and energy which must be shined onto others. If you do not shine your transformation through Jesus onto others, then you do not love, serve, or humble yourself.

Do not bury your talents of gold in the dirt, rather, invest them and allow them to bear fruit.

Hit The Target

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” – Proverbs 16:3

To hit the target, the target must be God inspired. Romans 8:6 says that if you set your mind on flesh, comes death, but to set your mind on the Spirit, is life and peace. Therefore, if your target does not align with God, and the victory does not belong to Him, your plans will not be established. but, if you are humble before the Lord, and give it all to Him, then perseverance will transform into accomplishment.

Job 1:21 says the Lord gives, and the Lord takes away. He is our logos and telos; He is the reason we can even have divine belief in ourselves. He deserves all the glory, as He has given power to the weak, and chosen the underdog. Only He, can supply us with our dreams and aspirations. We must center our target around God’s will for humanity.

When you dig into scripture, fall in love with prayer, love Jesus with your heart, soul, and mind: Only then will you bear the fruits of the Lord.

Conclusion

You have now put in the work, traversed through the highs and the lows, and have transformed into the person that can now accomplish your goals. You have prepared your horses for battle, and now victory belongs to the Lord.

I pray that this post has allowed you to become inspired, as the world is a full-on battle of light versus dark. We need more warriors of the light; we need more of YOU. Nothing can stop us with God on our side, all we must do is believe in our heart of hearts that He has our back. Are times of trials and tribulation not a beautiful thing? Do we not learn from our mistakes and uncomfortableness? Did the Bible not say God is in the wilderness?

Dream big, worship bigger; today is the day you take a step towards greatness.
