Are You on the Fence About Jesus Christ? Read This.

In this post, I will be trying to convert a non-believer through logic and reasoning. As well as strengthening a believer’s mindset about Jesus Christ. I truly believe, and do not take this the wrong way, that you are a fool if you do not believe in a God. There are too many unexplainable events and mechanisms in the world for there not to be an omnipotent creator.

Let us begin.

The Bible

All roads lead to Jesus.

If you read a book about philosophy, you will see ideas from the Bible with no mention of God. If you read a book about science, you will see fascinating revelations about the world with no mention God. If you watch a movie, you will see religious undertones with no mention of God. If you study mythology or the mysteries of antiquity, they will tell you the story of the Bible with no mention of God.

There is nothing new under the sun, as Jesus is the first and the last.

It is actually quite fascinating how apparent this thought process is. Even before I had a foundation in the Bible, I could still sniff out this fact. I would read Seneca and Aurelius, the faces of Stoicism, and see that they were using techniques from the Bible. Just not mentioning Jesus’ name, rather Apollo or Zeus. The Bible is so beautiful how it is original, unreplaceable, and divine in its being of perfection.

There is nothing like the Bible, no matter what you read.

Everything in the Bible aligns perfectly and does not contradict, although written by many authors. When researched upon, you will become more invested that it is the truth. It demolished the polytheistic argument, as well as demolished the idea that we all worship the same God, no matter the religion. It is the only religion that does not pander to worldly pleasure, as the Bible’s words are not the most morally pleasing to an atheist. I love every word though.

Truth does not always have to be pretty, but it will always win.

If you simply just read the Bible, listen to the words and philosophical thought on how we must live life, you yourself will become more joyful and positive. There is something about these divine words that truly transform a person’s heart and mind.

Try it for yourself if you are on the fence.

Jesus Christ

Let us think for a moment and imagine that you were playing a trick on your friend group. You started to say that your best friend was a celebrity. For some reason, the police come to you and say, “Lying about your friend being a celebrity is punishable by death, disavow this now.” Would you continue the lie? Or now that the circumstances are dire, since it is a lie, you would disavow that they are a celebrity? You certainly wouldn’t continue to lie about it right?

10 of the 11 disciples died horrific deaths, stating that Jesus was the Son of God, and rose again.

If you do not believe Jesus actually existed, you are foolish. There are too many pieces of evidence to disprove this claim, with even atheists agreeing that he was once a man.

Now, the argument has to be “Was he the Son of God?”

If the disciple deaths did not suffice, then we can look to other references. Jesus’ fulfillment of prophecies from the Old Testament are numerous, some that come to mind would be “silent in front of accusers” from Isaiah 53, and David in the Psalm saying that Jesus’ hands and feet would be pierced, before crucifixion even existed. There are many more prophecies completed that can be referred to.

(Side note, Jesus’ ability to reference the Old Testament scripture throughout his life is so fascinating.)

Jesus Christ is the only religious figure to resurrect himself from the dead, and the only person to die for YOU. The perfect man put himself on the cross to fulfill the Old Testament and give you eternal life. He died for our sins and allows us a life to choose him and live with him forever.

Muhammed didn’t die for you and resurrect himself; Buddha didn’t die for you and resurrect himself; John Smith didn’t die for you and resurrect himself.

Muslims, Hindus, Jews, your Messiah isn’t coming back.

JESUS IS THE MESSIAH, AND WE WILL ALL BEND THE KNEE TO OUR FATHER.

Prayer

This chapter will be less informative, and more experimental based. I literally just want you to pray right now. It does not have to be structured in any type of way, I just want you to say, “Dear Jesus,” and go from there. Talk out loud about your problems, about your feelings, about your disbelief. One thing that is guaranteed, is that you will feel more peaceful when you are done. Whether Jesus shows up in your room or not, you will feel an overwhelming sensation of relief after the prayer.

Now continue to do this daily.

While doing this, you yourself will become happier and more composed. Experiences will show up at your doorstep, circumstances will turn in your favor, and you will start to feel true fulfillment. This is the knock on the door to Christianity. Prayer is unbelievably powerful; I use it for myself and for the circumstances around me. It guides me throughout the day, brings me peace as I can be of temper at times, and allows me to serve others before myself.

I pray that you who is currently reading this, believer or not, have given your life to Christ. If you are someone that has not given your life to Christ, and this blog helped you, please write me an email.
