Oh, how hard it is to forgive and pray for an enemy. Oh, how difficult it is to genuinely seek the person God created rather than the words they speak. Oh, how hard it is to love all, as Jesus does.

In this post, we will be speaking about the importance of praying for the ones you love, as well as the ones you hate. This forgiveness through prayer will allow for you to stay positive, get more spiritual depth and power, and become closer to God through divine restraint.

Power of Prayer

The same way that keeping your mind/temple clean is important, it is also important to imitate Jesus. As Jesus forgave, you must forgive. The less you are able to forgive, the more pent-up frustration you will have over circumstances. The same way that it is silly to worry about the future or dwell in the past, as God may have a plan for you based around your fear.

As the mind must be tranquil and positive, so must the idea that everyone is created in the image of God. Therefore, you must want to see everyone in the eternal kingdom. This is why it is not okay to not forgive, because God has forgiven you.

When you start praying for the people you dislike, you will start to believe the prayers you have for yourself in others. The more you pray, the stronger your mind begins to believe the power of said prayers. This is when you can gain spiritual growth, with God, due to the fact that you are imitating his ways although difficult.

You are the temple of God.

Being able to remove all hate and negativity will transform your life for the better and allow for your desires to be received. Although we will never be perfect, we can take steps to try and love others just as Jesus once did.

I read about a beautiful trick which I have been implementing: When you are in public, say mini prayers in your head of good will for strangers. This will strengthen your ability to believe in prayer, so when the time comes, you will be able to affirm God’s gifts.

Also, you never know what someone is going through. Although they made have taken some anger out on you, it is because they themselves are lost. We must be the light in their darkness and lead them to Jesus, the same one who has transformed our lives.

Another tip is to believe that your prayers are unreasonable, in the sense of prayer is more powerful than any other human-made object, and that God can do all things. With this belief, you will be able to walk with a divine confidence that you can alter people’s lives by sacrificing your time for them, and that even wishing good will on someone that God will answer.

Carry no hate in your heart; be positive and strive for your desires and will.
