Pick a number in your life that you resonate with.
Do that many pushups every morning and every night. The number you pick will also be a mental cue to immediately think of your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In theory, you are starting and ending everyday with God, growing closer to him indirectly and organically. As when you count to that many pushups, you will have to think about God’s love. In day-to-day life when you see this number, you have to mentally reset no matter the mood you are in and give glory to God in that moment.
When praying, if you turn a want into a need through asking in prayer, it will not be given to you.
Allow your needs to stay needs and your wants to stay wants. God wants you to be content and gracious with what he has already given you. Instead, ask to allow God to give this “want” to you if it is in thy will.
While at work, picture as if everyone you are serving is the Lord.
Ephesians 6:7 states, “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people.” This will in turn trick your mind into being more productive while shining your Christian light on others. The whole point is to live your life so righteously that people ask how you are so joyful.
In prayer, ask for God to allow you to receive a sign of a change that needs to be made in your external.
God will present this to you in dreams or interactions, allowing you to be able to make the needed change or step to grow closer to God.
Everything you pray for, believe that God has already done it for you.
Mark 11:24 states, “Believe that you have already received it. Then it will be yours.” Agnostics use this technique without God, referred to as “manifestation.” With God, believe that God in the present has provided it to you, and you will internally change to adapt to the gift given. Start small with fully believing in prayer that God will give you a dream tonight.
Live every second presently.
Do not dwell about the mistake last week or the unknown potentiality in the future. You do not know the time or the hour of Jesus’ arrival or your OWN death. Stay present and conscious because death can open its door any moment. (This also helps with slowing down time, as you hear of time flying for the elderly.)
Do not fear death or the Bible.
Any anxiety build-up you have from reading prophetical verses or potential martyrdom in Revelations is from Satan. He wants you to be fearful of your own religion and self. Tell anxiety to flee as God is with you.
