Power of Routine

Fulfil your physical, entertainment, and knowledge needs with a simple routine to boost bodily functions and delete brain fog.

Daily routines will make or break all states of your well-being.

Nothing is better than waking up, knowing that you have planned out certain activities to increase your physical, mental, and emotional state.

Lift.

Setting time away to increase your body’s strength and cardiovascular system is important, because it literally makes you feel good. This is backed by first-hand experience and science.

you cannot have a strong mind and a weak body; lifting weights is an hour of pain, followed by 12 hours of joy.

sunlight.

Being out in the sun resets your body’s rhythm mechanics, which allows you to sleep better and feel better. I’d recommend going on a walk or a jog, as you can knock out two birds with one stone.

Read.

Reading fiction or nonfiction is beneficial for your brain. It increases your ability to remember conversations, statistics, memories, and is the foundation of true tranquility. Being able to learn something new every day, and allow yourself to relax by reading something you enjoy, will also fill your entertainment needs and knowledge needs.

Write.

Writing out your problems and feelings allows you to physically see the flaws and successes in your life. It is scientifically proven that seeing your problems on paper increases the chances of you actually solving them. This strategy is taught in therapy as well as many philosophies. There are no rules when it comes to journal writing.

Movie.

watching movies after all activities are done, will work as a reward for accomplishing all necessary needs. Also, fiction or nonfiction-based movies allows your brain to go back in a tranquil state and fulfil entertainment needs. There is truth in fiction, and you can learn a lot about yourself and life around you by watching certain themes of fictional movies.

Ex: Green Mile (Fantastic movie with religious undertones that will spark emotion)

Ex: Inception (Beautiful movie and soundtrack that allows reflection of how complex time is)

Diet.

Don’t eat out for a week and see how well your body responds.

Force yourself to eat healthy and cook. Cooking is fun, do not think you have to mimic the fast-paced world with fast food. I never get sick now, and my internal organs thank me daily.

Never consume sucralose again.

How do I use routine?

I read, write, run, lift, watch a movie or show daily. This is not to flex. It is to show that if you truly want to feel powerful, you will make time for all needs throughout the day. I was a victim of brain fog, and now never have it.

Life is sacrifice.

On the flip side, I am currently on vacation, and it was hard to maintain my routine with travelling and multiple plane rides. I immediately fell back into brain fog, no social battery, and craving sleep. I sacrificed entertainment by choosing sleep because I thought I needed it. If I want it bad enough, I will revert back to my foundation.

It doesn’t matter when you start because the effects are drastic.

Nobody is perfect.
