When your flashlight is blinking in and out via double a battery energy, what do you do?
You conserve.
When your PlayStation controller is low, what do you do?
You recharge.
Humans are energy. Energy needs to be conserved and recharged in our internal being. You can conserve in multiple ways: fasting, praying, abstaining, chastity, etc.
Detriment is sin, sin strips your energy.
In stoic terms, stoics believe in conserving emotion and flipping it into positive perspective. This in itself is a human Esque way of conserving energy, without involving the religious spirit. Stoic practice can also include if there is an urge for hedonic acts (sin), they picture themselves as a “God” to interpret their situation from an out-of-body experience.
Stoics believed in the conservation of spiritual energy and a God, while being behind in technology and Gnosticism.
Radiating positive energy fueled by God, will allow for your life to go well. This is a fact. Science shows that cells rejuvenate based on thought. Another example would be the sad and happy flower experiment, where two flowers were planted. One flower was yelled at and the other was talked to in a peaceful and loving manner. The one flower died and the other floursihed.
When our “roots” are based on conserving religious energy with energetic affirmations, you will reflect that “Jesus” light on to others, while simultaneously gaining better opportunities for yourself.
The goal of connecting, conversing, and conscious living will benefit your life tremendously.
God is the root, we are the plant, energy is the water.
