Christian Stoic’s Republic

“The beginning is the most important part of the work.” – Plato

Everyone has their ideal place, whether it is tangible or not. For me, I have always imagined myself as a ruler and how I wanted my “country” to be.

So here is my own take of Plato’s “Republic.”

First, architecture would be built with two thought-processes in mind: beauty and purpose. No laziness, no big-box stores, everything beautiful. Present day architecture is lazy and cost-effective, resulting in ugliness and unconsciousness.

No amount of penny-pinching is allowed.

Second, it is a Christian republic, combining state and religion. Religion gives purpose, and purpose indirectly gives obedience. A nihilistic mindset is so easily grasped if everything around is ugly and agnostic. Paganism is framed as freedom, and religion is viewed as unnatural. In this republic, everything will be symbolism for Jesus Christ and the great ones before us.

Third, education will be centered around creation, not study. The idea of study is that it is objective, and nothing new can be discovered. If you study something, it means that the material is your final thought on the subject. Studying will be thrown out, foundational boundaries as the rock, and a creation-push for purpose and natural beauty. If everyone is creating, it keeps the economy circulated smaller, and allows for all people the ability to have a legacy.

Fourth, all people will bear arms with proper training. Everyone must learn how to use a gun, tie knots, hunt, and gather. This will be taught in the schools, as a way to allow for a worst-case scenario event to not majorly effect the population.

No pornography, no other religions, no drugs, no beer.

All government employees must go through sales and psychology training, which will allow for better international economic deals and foreign relations. Schools will also teach how to ethically manipulate, communicate effectively, and meditatively think. With this training, no money can buyout anyone, through the fulfillment of the spirit and the external beauty surrounding the republic.

Because of a smaller population for the republic, the only wars that will ensue will be through self-defense. No armies exported out, only internal defense. People want to fight for the being they love; if they love their republic and family, they will be more apt to adrenaline rush a conflict with reckless abandon. The fear of death is none with this religious republic.

Isolationist > Interventialonalist

The republic will have a king that has the balance of Christian spirit and external experience. The king must be a bishop-leveled religious teacher as well as be a mystic manager, communicating the benefit of God and natural radiance. The King will appoint 33 senators to vote on internal affairs, in which they work for the common man. Almost invisible, as the best times are when you do not hear of government acts.

Here is the beginning of Christian Stoic’s Republic.
